Robin Hood (2010) "Robin Hood" chronicles the origins of the honourable thief of stories, and begins long before he takes up arms against the crown. Robin Longstride (Russel Crowe), previously interested only in self-preservation, is in service to King Richard's army against the French. Upon Richard's death, Robin travels to Nottingham, a town suffering from the corruption of a despotic sheriff and crippling taxation.
